From Goldstar to LG – Half of Century of Making Great TVs

LG is a multinational company based in Korea dedicated to bringing leading electronics to consumers all over the world. When it comes to TVs, leadership in technology and design has put LG ahead of the game, bringing cutting-edge, beautifully designed TVs to the marketplace, year after year.

Some people ask us how we got our start. Well, it all goes back about half a century ago when, after first producing radios, Goldstar (our name when we were founded) started to produce Korea’s first black & white TVs in August 1966. And we haven’t looked back (well, until now that is…). We’re proud of our heritage and we’re especially proud of our ability to deliver innovation in the form of state-of-the-art TVs and a myriad of other electronic goods to you.
